We understand that change can bring questions but rest assured - this transition is smooth and hassle-free for you. Bar 2064 is moving to Bar2 Contracting, and there’ll be zero impact on your services or agreements. To help clarify any details, we’ve put together some quick FAQs below! (You'll find support specific for your contractors here)

General

Bar 2064 Limited is moving its trading activity across to Bar2 Contracting Limited, a new company within our group structure. While the contracting legal entity is changing, everything else stays the same – your service, terms, and support continue without interruption, and there’s no action needed from either you, or your contractors 🙌

The transition is part of a broader move to streamline operations and improve the services we provide. While your day-to-day experience will remain consistent, the new setup allows us to operate with greater efficiency and flexibility. Over time, this will lead to faster processing times, more responsive support, and the ability to roll out improvements more effectively. Ultimately, it positions us to better support you and continue enhancing your experience. Going forward we intend to streamline our payroll, enabling faster payments to contractors while strengthening compliance to protect our partners. With improved processes, advanced tech, and better security, we’re taking the first steps toward a more transparent, accessible, and self-service experience for our customers.

Contractors will continue working and being paid exactly as before. Their terms, pay, and benefits will remain consistent, and there is no break in service. While they will receive a P45 from Bar 2064 Limited, this is purely a payroll formality. Their employment continues seamlessly under Bar2 Contracting Limited.

Your Terms and Conditions

No, nothing’s changing when it comes to your pricing, costs, or invoicing agreements. The only updates are the contracting legal entity and new payment details - that’s it!

Payment schedules will stay the same, and invoicing will continue as usual. The only difference is that invoices will now come from Bar2 Contracting Limited with new bank details instead of Bar 2064 Limited.

There are no commercial changes to your agreement; you will simply be contracting with Bar2 Contracting Limited rather than Bar 2064 Limited. We’ll notify you formally when the switch occurs and from that point you will be deemed to be contracting with Bar2 Contracting Limited instead of Bar 2064 Limited on exactly the same terms as previously. If we need to update your agreement in the future to reflect the change in legal entity, we’ll provide all necessary documentation and support in advance.

Not for now! The existing terms of business which you agreed with Bar 2064 Limited will be adopted by Bar2 Contracting Limited so there will be no change to your commercial arrangements. If we ever need to update and reissue them to reflect the change in legal entity, we’ll give you plenty of notice and guide you through the process.

Process

No, not during the transition process. Post the transition, we will however need you to update our bank details for the new company and contracting party, Bar2 Contracting Limited.

The transition will take place over the last weekend in April, with Bar2 Contracting Limited becoming fully operational from Monday 28th April.

We've carefully planned this transition with our payroll provider and internal teams to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. Data validation, secure transfers, and thorough testing are in place to ensure accuracy and continuity. Plus, we’ll be keeping a close eye on things during the transition to catch and fix any issues right away.

Contractor payments will continue as usual, and we’re confident everything will run smoothly. That said, we’ll have some extra eyes and ears on things in the first few weeks, just to make sure there are no bumps along the way. To ensure a seamless transition, the transition is scheduled for the weekend, giving us plenty of time to run thorough checks before processing payments later in the week.

No, all existing processes for timesheet submissions or placement tracking remain unchanged. If there are any changes in the future, we’ll give you advance notice and provide full training or guidance.
